Shenyang, referred to as "Shen", is the capital of Liaoning Province, a vice provincial city and a mega city. Located in the south of Northeast China, Shenyang is located in the center of Northeast Asia economic circle and Bohai rim economic circle. It is a comprehensive hub city connecting Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Beijing Tianjin Hebei region to Guandong region. Shenyang is a national historical and cultural city, known as "the birthplace of one dynasty, the capital of two generations of Emperors". It is China's most important heavy industry base with equipment manufacturing industry as the main industry. It has successively won the titles of "national civilized city", "national environmental protection model city", "National Forest City" and "national garden city".
