You need to have a teaching credentials (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/ PGCE, etc.). Candidates graduated from major in education do not need teaching credentials. Reference letters issued by the previous employers in China and overseas, which covers recent 2 years teaching experiences could instead of teaching certificate.

Candidates need to have a bachelor degree of any subject.

Usually you need to apply for a job by at least one month in advance since it takes time to get the visa and work permit to work legally in China. It's recommended to apply for a job by 2-3 months in advance even up to a year in advance.

Yes. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not a must, and our awesome academic department also offer professional trainings for all of our teachers.

The TEFL certificates is always a plus factor for our clients to accept the teacher, and for the visa office to approve the working permit.

No. If you have been educated at a university in a native English speaking country like UK/USA/Canada/Australia/Ireland etc you are eligible to apply. Anytime to speak fluent English is mandatory to teach English in China.

In order to guarantee your rights, please do not exchange personal contact information with the school. The contract is the only legal document that protects your rights. Please do not sign any contract or other documents with the school in private.

VISFFOR will email you the contract, offer letter (details of the offer as the contract attachment) and the profile form. The candidate sends back the signed contract (by electronic way) and the profile form within 3 days. Then we start to prepare the working permit and the invitation letters which will take 10 - 11 working days. The health insurance is in the package. The teacher will be bought the medical insurance days after his / her arrival. When the teacher is seeking for a medical care, he or she should pay the expense and keep the receipt back to the company. Then our service people will help him or her to get the money reimbursed within a few days.

VISFFOR follows the states regulations to get foreign teacher's working permit, and buy the medical insurance for you. You can have health service in most hospitals, and get reimbursement.

You can teach English in China without knowing how to speak Chinese. Students expect to get immersed in English during class and so speaking Chinese is actually discouraged in class. Often there is the option of having a Chinese teaching assistant to help with giving instructions and translating if need be, especially for young learner classes. Some schools provide Mandarin Chinese lessons and plenty of support for new arrivals. It is relatively easy to set up extra Chinese lessons and there are a plenty of resources available for self study, if you wish to.

In China most of the local teachers in public schools under high school level are paid about 6000 RMB per month. Local teachers above high school level e.g. colleges or universities are a bit higher around RMB 10000 for the professors. The payment varies in different regions in China. But for foreigner teachers, the salary will be higher. It will be 8000 RMB to 30000 RMB per month. It depends on your qualification.

TEFL is an abbreviation for Teaching English as a Foreign Language, to teach English in a country where English is not the first language. TESOL, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, encompasses both TEFL and TESL and can mean either one or both.

Four conditions: (1) You need to be a native English speaker. (3) You need pass through the criminal record check to get the work permit (4) You need work and live independently in a foreign country with different culture for a year or longer. Usually shortly after our clients sign contract with VISFFOR, we will have this information, and the candidates can know it during the interview or some occasions afterwards. However, this can only be true when we both agree on the school assignments, as the result, sometime it's hard to have a fixed appointment.
