Langfang is a prefecture level city directly under the central government of Hebei Province. It is located in the east of the central part of Hebei Province. It is located between Beijing and Tianjin, and is known as "the Pearl on the Beijing Tianjin corridor"
Langfang has a long history. As early as 6000 years ago, there were human beings living here. Langfang is known as "Beijing Tianjin corridor, golden zone". The urban area is 40 km away from Beijing Tiananmen Square, 60 km away from Tianjin central area, 70 km away from the capital and Tianjin airports, 100 km away from Tianjin port, and close to the planned new Beijing airport. Seven expressways and five railway trunk lines cross the territory, and 10 national and 20 provincial highways crisscross each other, making it one of the regions with the largest density of Railways and highways in China.
